Madagascar: A new era for sustainable development financing

The National Strategy for Integrated Financing of Sustainable Development (SNFI-DD), finalised in February 2026, marks a decisive turning point for Madagascar. Under the leadership of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, with support from the UNDP, this national framework aims to move away from a fragmented approach to financing and establish a coherent, predictable system aligned with national priorities and the 2030 Agenda. Governance and Accountability Implementation is led by an inter-sectoral technical unit within the Ministry of Economy and Finance.
