Executive Director
Trained as a forester and with a PhD in environmental economics from the University of Giessen in Germany, he has a strong background in environmental fund management, biodiversity conservation and sustainable financing. Drawing on his experience, he steers FAPBM's strategy with a vision focused on impact, transparency and financial innovation.Prior to joining FAPBM, Dr Rija Ranaivoarison held key positions in the field of sustainable development and natural resource management, notably as coordinator of WAVES (Wealth Accounting and Valuation of Ecosystem Services) and the City Region Food System and Green Cities Initiatives. He has also worked with a number of international organisations, governmental institutions and private actors to promote sustainable solutions in the areas of land security, environmental management and climate change adaptation.Under his leadership, the FAPBM has embarked on an ambitious strategy to diversify funding, including innovative mechanisms such as payments for environmental services, carbon credits and green bonds. He places particular emphasis on building the capacity of protected area managers, improving monitoring of the impact of investments and developing synergies with local communities.Passionate about conservation and sustainable development issues, Rija Ranaivoarison is working to make FAPBM a key player in the protection of Madagascar's natural heritage and the sustainable financing of protected areas. He was appointed Executive Director of the Foundation in January 2025.

Programmes and Impacts Director
With over 20 years of experience in sustainable renewable natural resource management and development projects, he has proven expertise in managing complex projects funded by various donors. He is passionate about a results-oriented approach and the pursuit of continuous improvement. Having joined the Foundation in 2018 as Head of Funding, he was behind the changes made to improve the FAPBM's funding mechanisms for Protected Areas.This new position as Programmes and Impacts Director marks the continuity and continuation of efforts to create a more efficient and modern Foundation that responds to current conservation challenges and is recognised both nationally and internationally. These visions will be achieved through the use of innovative approaches that embrace new technologies and the development of human capital.

Support Operations Director
An experienced professional in support operations and organizational transformation, with expertise in performance management, digital integration, and change leadership. His background includes leading complex projects aimed at optimizing processes, establishing governance frameworks, and driving innovation through technological solutions and business intelligence tools.As Director of Support Operations at FAPBM, he is committed to ensuring operational efficiency and resilience by aligning systems and processes with the organization’s strategic objectives. His approach is built on strong governance, performance monitoring, and stakeholder engagement to fully contribute to FAPBM’s mission: creating sustainable impact and strengthening development initiatives in Madagascar.

Head of Administrative and Logistics Department
With a Master's degree in Management Control and Operational Auditing from INSCAE, Vola RAJAOFERA has solid experience in administrative, financial and organisational management, acquired through development projects and public institutions in Madagascar (ONE, SAGE, ONI, ATT, MTM, etc.). She has developed expertise in structuring management tools, developing regulatory frameworks and improving governance processes. Driven by a desire to help preserve nature for future generations, she has been working at FAPBM since 2021, where she contributes to institutional strengthening and operational efficiency.

Head of Human Resources Department
With over ten years of experience in talent management and organisational transformation, Voaharinandrianina Fanomezantsoa RASOLOFOSON has held senior HR positions in key sectors in Madagascar.With a Master II degree in Human Resources Management from INSCAE and IAE Poitiers, she combines expertise in organisational coaching, Lean Management and skills development. Her career reflects a constant commitment to mobilising teams, strengthening corporate culture and aligning HR practices with strategic objectives.

FAMINDRA Project Manager
An experienced professional in development project management, Lolitacia Vololondiamondra SENDRADILIFERA brings over 25 years of experience in leading complex projects and supporting high-impact initiatives. Her career reflects a strong commitment to a results-oriented approach, continuous improvement, and the pursuit of sustainable solutions.As FAMINDRA Project Manager at FAPBM, she holds an MBA in Project Management from the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières. She contributes to the implementation of the Foundation’s programmes through a structured approach aligned with strategic priorities and current challenges in conservation and sustainable development in Madagascar.

Head of Audit and Internal Control Department
With a degree in Finance and Accounting, Evah joined the Foundation in 2017 after having worked as an external auditor in a firm and then as an internal auditor in various private companies.

Head of Finance and Accounting Department
A graduate of INSCAE in Finance and ENAM in Public Management, Onintsoa worked at the Private Sector Support Fund (World Bank) and the Environmental Program Coordination Phase 3 (World Bank) before joining the Foundation in November 2016.

Head of MEAL Department
At the Foundation since May 2015, Serge is a biologist by training and has also studied economic anthropology at SUNY Stony Brook, NY - USA. He worked for UNESCO (World Heritage Center), CARE International Madagascar and the World Bank before joining the Foundation.

Head of Communication and Advocacy Department
With a Master's degree in marketing and commerce, Jenny has several years' experience in the field.. Throughout her career, she has developed a strong background in branding and visual communication. She joined the Foundation in November 2024.
