The Board of Trustees of FAPBM is currently chaired by Bruno Tsing Yat RAJASPERA who took office on June 2023. The Vice-Presidency was given to Mrs Hanta Zo RAKOTOVAO.

The Board of Trustees is the guiding and administrative body of FAPBM and is responsible for steering FAPBM’s activities. To this end, it issues directives and monitors their execution. In addition, and in order to allow regular monitoring of its activities and to maintain good relations with its donors, the Board of Trustees meets annually with the main contributors to the capital. These meetings are an opportunity to review the situation but also to discuss the perspectives, the recommendations of the donors are taken into account.

The Board of Trustees is made up of 9 members elected for a period of 4 years. It is composed of personalities from civil society and the private sector in Madagascar.

Bruno Tsing Yat RAJASPERA

President

Currently Director of Community Resource Support at Conservation International - Madagascar, Bruno Tsing Yat RAJASPERA provides strategic and cross-cutting support to Conservation International Madagascar's program to develop the landscape management approach and lead the biodiversity offset project funded by the mining company Ambatovy. He has a long history as a coordinator of large-scale environmental projects for USAID and DELL Corporation.
He has developed expertise in community development for conservation and has written several publications on the subject, most recently: "Developing a resilient co-management arrangement for protected areas: field experience of the Ankeniheny-Zahamena corridor in Madagascar" for Madagascar, Human Dimensions of Wildlife.
Bruno Tsing Yat RAJASPERA holds an engineering degree in agronomy from the Ecole Supérieure des Sciences Agronomiques of the University of Antananarivo.

Currently, Head of Legal and Regulatory Department at Orange Madagascar.She held senior legal positions in the private sector, prior to taking on this function.Hanta Zo Rakotovao holds a Master II in Law from the University Gaston Berger Senegal, a Diploma of Advanced Studies (DEA) in Social Sciences and a postgraduate diploma (DESS) in Administration and Local Community Development in Saint Denis of Reunion.

Owner and Manager of the Tropical Food company, Hary Tiana Rahaingoalison is a specialist in coordination and monitoring of international projects in Madagascar.  She was in charge of the productive sectors and governance at the Organisme de Coordination et de Suivi des Investissements et de leurs Financements (OCSIF). She is a member of the technical committee " financial resources mobilization" for the project "Strengthening national capacities for the respect of global environmental duties in the framework of the priorities of Sustainable Development" or CCCD-Rio Conventions. Hary Tiana Rahaingoalison is an Agricultural Engineer and a specialist in evaluation and performance assessment of organisations.

Jean Hervé BAKARIZAFY holds a Diploma of Higher Studies in Tourism from the INTH and followed international training in coastal and insular natural areas, regional management of marine protected areas, and cooperation management in technical negotiation.

He is a member of the investment and fundraising committees of FAPBM.

The committees are duly mandated by the Board of Trustees to perform or perform any specific function and responsibility. The composition of each Committee is decided by the Board of Directors. The Committees may enlist the assistance of outside experts for the purposes of their work. The recommendations of the committees are subject to the approval of the Board of Trustees.
